Trainer Assessor Group has the ability to offer the following services in the way of full qualifications or individual units to meet your specific requirements.

CIVIL CONSTRUCTION COURSES

Trainer Assessor Group offer a number of Plant and/or machinery competencies within the civil construction field. These include but are not limited to the following:

  • Compactor;
  • Roller;
  • Skid Steer (Bobcat);
  • Backhoe / Loader;
  • Excavator;
  • Wheeled Front End Loader;
  • Grader;
  • Scraper;
  • Belly Dump Truck;
  • Articulated Haul Truck;
  • Rigid Haul Truck;
  • Elevating Work Platform (Over & Under 11m);
  • Forklift and many more.

Once successfully completing your training and assessment on any of these pieces of plant/machinery, you will be issued with a Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (SOA).

There are no entry requirements for these competencies.

Many work sites within Australia now require an operator to hold a current Verification of Competency (VOC) to acknowledge that they are up to scratch and “current” with their skills and knowledge within this field. It is for this reason that Trainer Assessor Group offers VOC Assessments.

We conduct verification of competency assessments nation wide on most plant/machinery within the Civil Construction industry.

Qualification Title: Certificate III in Civil Construction (General) 

This qualification reflects the role of a skilled operator working in Civil construction, who applies a broad range of skills in a varied work context, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge.

The qualification applies to specialist occupations in bituminous surfacing, bridge construction and maintenance, pipe laying, road construction and maintenance, road marking, tunnel construction, timber bridge construction and maintenance, civil construction general and traffic management occupations. The individual may provide theoretical advice and support a team.

Licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification requirements that apply to this qualification can vary between states, territories, and industry sectors. Relevant information must be sourced prior to application of the qualification.

LOGISTICS COURSES

Trainer Assessor Group offer a number of Plant and/or machinery competencies within the warehousing and logistics field. These include but are not limited to the following:

  • Elevating Work Platform (Over & Under 11m);
  • Forklift;
  • Order Picker / Stock Picker;
  • Walkie Stacker;
  • Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ);
  • and many more.

This is a qualification for those engaged in logistics operations within the Transport and Logistics Industry.

It involves a defined range of skilled operations, usually within a range of broader related activities involving known routines, methods and procedures, where some discretion and judgement is required in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures within known time constraints. It may also include responsibility for coordinating the work of others.

Successful achievement of the licensing units within the qualification must align with applicable licensing and regulatory requirements.

Job roles and titles vary across different sectors. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include:

• Logistics Administration Officer

• Logistics Service Clerk.
